Recently, Mikel and I were able to witness my little sister, Kara, graduate from college – in only 3 years, no less! We are so proud of her! Here are a few images from her graduation day:

The Graduate and all of her regalia (she had enough rope in those honor cords to run a small yacht, I think):
Kara graduated from the School of Communications, which is represented by the color red – this photo was taken as they were certifying the graduates from her school at the whole school commencement (check out how they lit the famous tower red in honor of them!):
At the end of the ceremony, the raised the Texas flag and lit the tower orange for the alma mater
And shot off some fireworks
Last, but not least – Kara as a college grad! It’s official!
