Class of 2009 :: Availability Update!

I’ve been getting a lot of members of the Class of 2009 trying to schedule last minute Senior Sessions so they can send out wallets with their graduation announcements – that’s awesome, but time’s running out my friends! My schedule is filling up fast! Here are the dates left for April and May:
April – 12, 18, 19, 25, 26

May – 3, 16, 17, 30, 31

Dates edited Thursday, 3/2

Notes:

  • I only take 1 session on Sundays (in the afternoon)
  • I *can* squeeze two sessions in on Saturdays (1 morning, 1 afternoon), but I prefer not to so that I can give your session undivided attention
  • Booking May 30th or 31st for Senior Sessions with the intention of getting quick prints for grad announcements that need to be sent out ASAP (I know Plano schools graduations are in the 2nd week of June) will incur a rush edit / print charge of $100 in addition to the session fee and print pricing.
  • Remember, we’re in the truly crazy season for Texas weather – leave yourself enough time to reschedule in case of severe spring weather.

Get on the books quick! Time is running out!

PS - The 10 dates listed are the last of my availability for April and May in general. If you are interested in getting a Spring shoot in for your family, baby, children, or maternity sessions, go ahead and get your name on the books! First come, first served – senior or not!

Sneak Peek :: Amanda + Jill :: Plano Family Photographer

Just a quick sneak peek before I head off to bed – it’s been a busy weekend! You’ll recognize Amanda from her senior session last spring (she’s the beauty with the red background on the slideshow above) – she and her sister both represent Plano Senior High – Amanda as a cheerleader, Jill as a softball player. Their mom wanted to have some photos of them together in their uniforms before Amanda heads off to college in the fall, so we met for a quick mini-session today to get a few images!

A Family Affair :: McKinney Portrait Photography

I first met baby Drew and his mommy, Sabrina, for a photo shoot for Sarah’s calendar last fall. Sabrina recently got in touch with me to set up a family shoot with her family and her sister’s family for a Father’s Day gift for their dad (talk about being ahead of the game!). We picked today for the shoot in the midst of an early spring heat wave – every day was 80 degrees and sunny. Of course, today the temperature drops to 40 degrees and windy for a last blast of winter! Everyone was a good sport about it and we got through the shoot fabulously!

Class of 2010 :: Senior Ambassador Call

Members of the Class of 2010! Now is your time to get FREE stuff just for showing off your Senior Photos!

If you are currently a high school junior who will be graduating with the Class of 2010, you are eligible to become a Senior Ambassador!

Here’s the scoop:

As a Senior Ambassador, your job is simply to show off your rockin’ senior photos to all of your friends and classmates and get them all revved up to get their own senior photos. I’ll give you personalized Ambassador Cards and a brag book, so this will be super easy for you to do!

When you’re friends start booking their senior photos with Deena Riley Photography, you will earn credit towards your own order and maybe even a prize or two!

So what about this free business? As an Ambassador, you will get not 1, but 2 sessions for free (one this spring / summer to show off to your friends and one next spring to use as you wish!), 50 Ambassador Cards to hand out to your friends (that will help you earn more free stuff), and your 10 page brag book filled with your favorite images from your first session.

I will only be accepting 2 Ambassadors from the schools on the list below, so make sure you get your name in quick!

Model Call!

I am in the process of completely rebuilding the DRP website and am taking a different approach to how I do galleries. It’s going to be super cool and super exciting! I’d like to give you guys the chance to be stars on the new website! Here’s the deal, in exchange for being my models for my new galleries you will receive:

  • Session Fee Waived
  • An online gallery to view your images and share with family and friends
  • A free 8×10 print of your favorite image from the session
  • Discounts on all other products, including digital negatives

Some important things to keep in mind: I will be choosing the location and coaching you and/or your family’s wardrobe. Shoots will last at least an hour and need to be completed before the end of April. I do already have shoots on the books for April, so I will give you choices on dates. If you can’t make any of the dates, I’m sorry, but hopefully I’ll be able to work with you in the near future.

Model Combinations Needed:

  • A Newborn, less than 2 weeks old. If you are a pregnant mommy due sometime between now and April 30, you are eligible to nominate your soon-to-be little one! Baby may be photographed with their parents and/or sibling(s) if any. Shoot will likely be in your home.
  • A Set of 2-3 Siblings between the ages of 5 and 13.
  • A Family of 4-5 people, children of any age
